These terms cover the use of this website and the detailing work carried out by Northern Shine Auto Detailing. Using the site means you accept them.
1. The service
Northern Shine Auto Detailing provides vehicle cleaning, detailing and paint care in Kapuskasing, Ontario and the surrounding communities. Work is carried out by appointment.
2. Prices and quotes
Prices shown on this website are starting prices for a car or small SUV in average condition. They are not fixed prices for every vehicle.
A quote is prepared once we know the vehicle and its condition. That quote is what you pay. If the vehicle turns out to be materially different from what was described, you will be contacted before any additional work or cost is added.
Quotes are valid for a reasonable period and may be revised if a substantial time passes before booking.
3. Bookings and cancellations
An appointment is confirmed once you accept a quote and a time is agreed. If you need to cancel or move an appointment, let us know as early as you can so the slot can be reallocated.
4. What detailing can and cannot do
Detailing improves the condition of a vehicle. It does not make it new. In particular:
- Scratches deep enough to catch a fingernail cannot be polished out, because they are through the clear coat.
- Permanent dye stains, burns, tears and worn upholstery cannot be reversed by cleaning.
- Headlights that are cracked or fogged on the inside cannot be restored and need replacing.
- Existing rust, corrosion and paint damage will not be repaired by cleaning.
Where a defect cannot be corrected, you will be told before the work starts rather than after.
5. Your vehicle
Please remove valuables, personal documents and anything fragile before your appointment. We take reasonable care of anything left in the vehicle but cannot accept responsibility for personal items.
Please also tell us in advance about aftermarket paint, wraps, vinyl, non standard trim or any prior repair, because these can react differently to normal products.
6. Liability
Work is carried out with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for pre existing damage, wear, mechanical or electrical faults, or for defects that only become visible once dirt is removed.
Any claim relating to work carried out should be raised with us promptly so it can be looked at while the vehicle is still in the same condition.
7. This website
The content, photographs and layout of this website belong to Northern Shine Auto Detailing or are used with permission. Do not copy or republish them without written consent.
We aim to keep the information here accurate and current, but the site is provided as it is. Service details and prices may change.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
